Watch Strap Size Guide

STRAP WIDTH

Belt width (lug width) is usually measured in millimeters (mm). Clocks come in different sizes. To determine the correct strap width for your watch, you will need to measure the ring width of your watch. This can be done with a ruler or vernier caliper. If you already have a leather strap, you can check the back to see if there is a size print shown in millimeters. Otherwise, you can measure the end and buckle width of your strap with a ruler or caliper.

It’s width is expressed in two numbers. For example, 20/18 – the first 20mm number is the width of the strap between the grips of your watch and the second 18mm number is the width of the strap at the clasp. A flat watch band like 20/20 has the same width at the grips and buckle, while a tapered watch band like 20/18 for example has a wider width at the grips and narrower at the clasp.

STRAP LENGHT

Strap length width is usually measured in millimeters (mm). The length of a two-piece watch strap is expressed in two numbers. For example, strap length 120/75 The first number 120mm is the length of the tail side of the strap and the second number 75mm is the length of the buckle side of the strap.

HOW SHOULD THE STRAP LENGHT BE?

First, you need to know your wrist size. Measure your wrist size with a tape measure or use a plain strip of paper to wrap the watch around your usually worn wrist and make a mark. Then lay the strip flat and measure the distance between the starting point and the mark on the strip. This will be your wrist size.

After taking your wrist size, the sum of the tail and the buckle will be your strap choice to find your correct strap size. Check out our length suggestions.
